3rd Grade students continue their learning at home. Students are working more independently, and producing quality work, which is what 3rd Trimester is all about! I am so proud of their ability to ask questions to clarify assignments and their ability to show their thinking creatively through online platforms!
On May 1st, Mary was crowned Queen of Heaven and Earth. Many of our SMA families brought flowers for Mary that morning, and an altar was made in Her honor. She was surrounded by the loveliest arrangements fit for the Queen she is! Many students also made altars of their own at home and attended our All School Mass which was live streamed by Mary Star of the Sea Church and on our SMA Webite. Mrs. Zack, our Vice Principal, crowned Mary, and Father Pat gave a beautiful homily on the importance of loving yourself.
We will continue to pray to Mary, our Mother, throughout the month of May. We will thank Her for Her endless, loving support, especially during these challenging times.
